Polluting the oceans

Key Dear sent me this link and I have to post it. I've known about cargo ships and cruise ships dumping their waste and trash in the oceans for years. The ships and boats that visit the Galapagos are famous for it. But these photos really bring the message home.

How many people have been there and walked by these birds... Ignored the obvious.... made sure they were not in their photograph... I am thankful that someone recognized and photographed the ugliness made by human hands.

We've gotten very disconnected from nature and as a result, most people have no idea how important each and every living thing is in the grand scheme.

Good for Chris Jordan for putting it right in our faces.
